Gym Marine celebrates a year of partnership with SYTT

Gym Marine is celebrating a successful year of partnership with industry leading watersports and yacht tender supplier, Superyacht Tenders and Toys.
Headed up by ex-crewmember Josh Richardson, the Suffolk-based company has grown exponentially over the past 7 years and recently won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Industry in recognition of their export success.
As part of their wider offering for new builds or operating yachts looking to refresh their onboard leisure facilities, Superyacht Tenders and Toys have teamed up with Gym Marine to bring their clients a full range of superyacht gym design services and luxury gym equipment.
Edward Thomas, founder of Gym Marine Yachts & Interiors, explains further:
“We’ve been really fortunate to have engaged in this partnership with Josh and the Superyacht Tenders and Toys team. Over the past 12 months we have delivered a number of gym projects together, both for owners and crew, onboard high profile yachts in Europe.”
“Working in tandem with a similar ‘specialist’ business in the superyacht industry allows us to pool our expertise and make use of our shared skills to ensure the client gets the absolute best service available. In this particular instance, we are able to offer Josh’s clients our gym design expertise, and combine our two companies shared knowledge of logistics and yacht support to select the right equipment for the job and get it to the yachts as efficiently as possible. This has proved particularly effective for large new-construction projects, where combining our shipments has resulted in large scale cost savings for the end customer. We are looking forward to announcing a number of new large yacht gym deliveries together in 2019.”
With the new build yacht market looking stronger than ever, there are exciting times ahead for both Gym Marine and Superyacht Tenders and Toys, who have also just launched their new brand Shipyard Supply Co to satisfy demand for custom equipment for large construction projects such as tender whips, transom fenders and awnings.
